Born in Jerusalem, Palestine, Ahmad El-khatib relocated to Washington, D.C. As a young youngster in quest of a better life, he moved to the city. In addition to academic achievement, he desired to enhance his athletic ability. Ahmad reasoned that mastering martial arts may strengthen his intellect and body, fostering a passion he wanted to cultivate. He often competed in the National Basketball League and the National Amateur Ski Association. El-khatib learned the virtues of endurance, respect for others, and unexpected challenges via martial arts. He became one of the top three United States athletes due to his tenacious work ethic and positive outlook. Earning the Grand Champion Title at The World Cup Martial Arts Finals in 2001, he later solidified his status as one of the nation's finest martial artists.
